I left my bowl of frosting out over night and it got crusty, so I crumbled over my pizza instead of drizzling
I also planned of scoring the dough before baking, but it split the crust so I abandoned the idea.
This can be made with just the cinnamon, cinnamon and apples, cinnamon and frosting, whatever you have on hand works. I used some leftover white chocolate frosting on mine, but any thing works. I wish I had some caramel sauce to drizzle on this as well, if you have it I would recommend trying it. I plan on drizzling it on after everything is baked and slightly cooled.
Crust:
3/4 c. ginger-ale (or water)
2 Tbsp butter
2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp bread machine yeast
1 Tbsp dough enhancer
1/2 stick melted butter
Cinnamon sugar
1 can apple pie filling
White frosting (optional)
Place all in the bread machine in the order written. Start on the pizza dough cycle.
When the dough is done in the bread maker, roll the dough out into a pizza crust and brush the top with melted butter. Place in a cold oven and set to 350. Bake for 25 minutes (or until the bread looks cooked but not browned). Chop the apple pie filling so the apple chunks are in small pieces. Brush with butter on any spots that look dry. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and chopped apple pie filling. Bake an additional 10 minutes. Drizzle with frosting and/or caramel. Let cool and then eat.
